David has over 28 years experience in the oil and gas industry, having worked for Cities Service and as an independent consultant to the Industry. He has spent the last 23 years in joint interest operations, joint interest accounting, Joint Venture auditing of non-operated or "outside" operations, and upstream internal control and contractor/vendor compliance.
David's extensive experience includes the full range of Joint Venture activity including drilling wells, lease-operating expense, facility allocations, farm-ins/farm-outs, and net proceeds. His other areas of audit expertise include platform construction, vendors and contractors, oil and gas product sales, gas balancing, and due diligence audits of oil and gas property acquisitions/evaluations.
David is an active member of COPAS and the Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston, serving as a member of the Audit Committee.
