A resident of Tomball, Texas, Larry has a total of 34 years of energy industry audit experience, the majority as Joint Interest Audit Manager for Getty Oil/Texaco (22 years). His responsibilities included Non-Operated properties both in the United States and overseas. Larry has extensive experience in Joint Venture Accounting and Auditing, Contract/Vendor Compliance, and Internal Control procedures and processes. He began his career after receiving a BBA degree from Sam Houston State University (Huntsville, Texas).
Larry is an active member of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (accepted as a member in 1982), and has served in numerous leadership positions at both the local level, Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston, President (6/88 - 5/89), Treasurer, Secretary, and Audit Committee Chairman; and at the national level, COPAS President (1997), Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Audit Committee Chairman, Ethics Committee Chairman, Research and Advisory Committee Chairman.
