Laura, Chief Financial Officer of OGC Consulting. Graduated December 1977 from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude. Laura joined Chevron U.S.A. in 1978 accepting a position in the Joint Interest Accounting organization overseeing the application of payments for Non-Operated Billings. Attended Hastings College of Law (1979-1980), worked at Zoandra Petroleum (Denver) handling all production accounting functions.
At OGC, Laura manages the Financial and Administrative areas of the Company. In addition, she is responsible for Audit Scheduling, coordination with clients and auditors of audit engagements, and performs selected audits and oversees claim resolution activities. She has also worked for the Professional Development Institute at the University of North Texas, providing on-site assistance/coordination of their International Accounting course offering. Laura is an active member of Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston, serving as Web Master, maintaining the Job Line, and is a participating member of the Joint Interest Committee.
