Pete has thirty-two years experience in the oil & gas industry. The last 20 years have been spent in the Joint Interest area. This included all facets of auditing and the responsibility for formulating and implementing Joint Interest policy. He has vast experience working with land and operations departments on structuring joint operating agreements. He also provided in-house training on Joint Interest matters.
Pete's COPAS involvement is extensive. He was on the committees that wrote the COPAS 84, 86, 95 and PTAP Accounting Procedures. He chaired the COPAS Joint Interest Committee from ’94-’96. Along the way he was president of COPAS of Dallas, the Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston, and chairman of the North American Petroleum Accounting Conference.
