Laura worked with Howard to create OGC when it was founded in 1999. She took over the company when Howard passed in 2013.
As the owner of OGC Consulting, Laura oversees all day to day operations, and all compliance reviews the company prepares. This includes coordinating and scheduling all the pre-engagement preparation, planning and analysis, and compliance reviews. She also manages the schedule for all the company's principals and associates.
Laura has also done work for the Professional Development Institute at the University of North Texas, providing on-site assistance and coordination of their International Accounting and Auditing course offering. Laura is an active member of Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston, and is a participating member of both the Joint Interest Committee and the Picnic Committee.
Graduating Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Laura started her professional career with Chevron U.S.A. in 1978 by accepting a position in the Joint Interest organization overseeing the application of payments for Non-Operated Billings. She took a leave of absence to attend the Hasting College of Law in 1979 before returning to Chevron.
