OGC identifies and retains these associates for the long term, ensuring we have the top minds at all times. With over 30 consultants, OGC offers a strong depth of knowledge and experience on oil and gas issues. 

Our People

Mr. Blunk had over four decades of Oil and Gas experience. He held a variety of supervisory and managerial positions in the United States and overseas. While he was Audit Manager of Non-Operated Joint Ventures for Chevron, he was responsible for compliance coverage of all non-operated properties in the United States and Canada.

Mrs. Blunk managed all the needs of OGC ensuring a smooth day-to-day operations. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Accounting, and quickly joined Chevron U.S.A. as part of their Joint Interest organization overseeing the application of payments for Non-Operated Billings.

A resident of Tomball, Texas, Larry has over 34 years of energy industry experience, the majority as a Manager for Getty Oil/Texaco, including 22 years overseeing Joint Interest Compliance. Larry has extensive experience in Joint Interest billing and compliance, Contractor/Owner reviews, and Internal Control procedures and processes.

Michael Blunk
Partner

Michael has built a career around business development, investor relations, and fundraising. His first touch with the oli and gas industry was serving as a campaign advisor and fundraiser for Jeff Weems' campaign to be a Texas Railroad Commissioner. He spent the next 6 years working with hundreds of start up companies raising capital, and investors looking to place capital. Today he oversees all business development and contractor relations for OGC.

Byron brings over a decade of information technology leadership experience to the oil and gas industry. His academic background includes accounting and finance, among others, and he has worked for some of the biggest corporations in the world including Chevron, Microsoft, and Dell. Today, he is responsible for the operations of OGC Consulting, and serves as the vice-chairperson for the Audit committee of the Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston.
